In short, just draw a picture first, and open the layers randomly for your own convenience.

(There is no profound reason for this step)

Simply because I think the glossy pink-purple color is more pleasing to the eye and more suitable for the color I will paint later.

So I changed the grayscale to purple and the layer blending mode: Add (Glow).

Next, for the convenience of typing, the layer blending mode XX will be directly written as XX layer.

Use a soft light layer to paint, mainly to flatten the areas with too strong contrast.

It’s more in line with the fragile image in my mind. (No one understands)

At the same time, it enhances the rosy color of the skin and creates a sense of transparency.

Use a soft light layer to further brighten areas that are too dark.

Although I was shocked when I was writing this line: I wish I didn't draw it so deeply at the beginning, right?

But it was too late.

After the overall tone is decided, use normal layers to add details.

Because the previous steps only determine the overall tone, the picture is very boring.

So I used more prominent colors in this step,

It is mainly decorative in nature and will not be related to sketching.

Finally, adjust the tone curve. The concept of operation is to adjust the bright parts to cool colors and the dark parts to warm colors. The output will look like this.

In fact, you can also use curves to adjust the saturation higher, but I also forgot why I ended up outputting a version with a lower saturation. It seemed to be because I felt that my eyes were tired from drawing too many high-color pictures, so I chose one. Low color version output.

But now that I’m looking at it, I think the version on the right is quite nice.
