天魔カイリ

Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Tenma Kairi.

This time I'll be showing you how to draw chibi characters, and I've put together some things I think you should be careful of when drawing them.

I hope you enjoy it until the end!

*All characters that appear in this TIPS are original characters created by Tenma Kairi.

When drawing a chibi character, first draw the circle and triangle!!

My way of drawing might be a bit peculiar,

First, I draw a triangle inside a circle, then erase the tip.

Just by doing this, doesn't it start to look like a chibi character?

I use this as a rough sketch to draw a rough outline.

By the way, the length of the triangle can be any length you want to the head to body ratio.

I always draw a circle (head) with a head to body ratio of 1 to 1.5.

Draw the body so that it does not extend beyond the triangle! It's okay if the arms and legs extend beyond the triangle!

Try squeezing the composition you want to draw into the triangle as shown above!

Basically it's okay for the arms and legs to stick out,

but you should draw the body so that it doesn't stick out from the triangle.

It may be difficult until you get used to it,

but as long as you keep in mind that the body basically doesn't stick out from the triangle,

you'll be able to draw a chibi character's body easily!

Making of Kairi Tenma's chibi illustration

With the above in mind, I would like to actually draw a chibi illustration.

I explained how to draw the body in these TIPS,

but I also talk about facial features in the video,

so I hope you will watch that video until the end.

*Please note that there is sound.

Thank you to everyone who has read this far.
