Until now, I'd always thought that drawing objects in the foreground larger made them look more manga-like, but I thought about why that was.
When you hold your fingers in front of you, if you look closely you can see two slender fingers, but in your mind they look like one. I think most people probably go through some kind of brain conversion.
So, I thought that if I drew the fingers in the foreground larger than they actually are when making a manga, it would give a closer impression.
