Four types of acrylic gouache brushes

Four types of brushes inspired by acrylic gouache are included. Enjoy the feeling of every brushstroke.

Gouache round brush

The end of each stroke has a texture that resembles a bristle brush. It is designed to clearly display the color when layered. We recommend this brush when drawing detailed areas.

Gouache flat brush

The end of each stroke has a texture that resembles a bristle brush. It is designed to clearly display the color when layered. Low pressure will result in the image appearing as if it has been lightly touched or grazed.

Gouache broad brush

The stroke maintains a consistent thickness that aligns with the line's direction. We recommend drawing boldy from the beginning to the end of the stroke.

Textured gouache

This brush is great for when you want to add nuance, such as when applying a base coat to the entire canvas. It's set up to allow for easy paint mixing.

Combine digital and traditional techniques to advance your work

By utilizing both traditional and digital materials, you can effectively create artworks and maximize the strengths of both mediums. Give it a try!

Plan the color scheme of your artwork digitally

Using the "Turner Acryl Gouache" color set, you can plan the color scheme of traditional artworks digitally. It's easy to repaint or duplicate areas, allowing you to experiment with color combinations until you are satisfied.

Real textures as the secret ingredient

When your digital artwork seems to be missing something, consider adding textures created using real acrylic gouache by using a camera or scanner. By using blending modes, you can increase the depth of your work.

Finishing up your work

When scanning traditional artwork and posting it on social media, overlaying key parts digitally can create a visually appealing finish on the screen.

Similarly, incorporating traditional paint into a digitally drawn piece when printing can create a unique mixed-media artwork.
