This explains how to use layers.
First, make a rough sketch, then press the plus button at the top. Once a layer is added, move it to the bottom.
Then, color it in.
Then, the lines of your rough sketch won't disappear!
If you add another layer and move it below, you won't be able to add more color to what you just painted.
