Emotions with Hands

Hands can convey different types of emotions: clenching a fist to show anger, placing hands near the mouth to show anxiety or nervousness, or covering the face when feeling shame.

Use 3D Models

If you don't have much experience drawing hands, the best thing you can do is use this Clip Studio Paint tool: 3D hand models are great for saving time.

Hands with Basic Shapes

Instead of using 3D models, what I do is build the hand with simple shapes. I use a box for the structure and add tube-shaped fingers. I advise you to look at reference photos if you have difficulty imagining hand poses. What interests us is capturing the gesture, it doesn't have to be perfect.
