This is the 2d. part of my tutorial of a creation of character art from zero to hero. This one is Katsuyori, a sa,urain/ronin cat (hence the name) . I am painting this using only stock brushes .Using Clip Studio Paint with my Xp-pen Artist 15.6 HD. This is the whole process about how to paint it, using stock brushes without twitching or any kind of customization. This is pure concept art, only using #ClipStudioPaint and #xppen display tablet.

Help this #artist to get more than 1000 subscribers and I will make a draw and the 5 winners will get a Hi-res Image of themselves as a comic character or a concept art.

Also you can help to support this artist by making donations, any amount using this link:

Process of Paintint Katsuyori.

Process is so simple. just three steps.

1. isolate the figure using magic wand

2. Make a mask

3. Paint

Isolating using magic Wand

As you can see in the video, this is like using a mask in traditional art for watercolor. Yep, there is masks for that, they are liquid and can be erased out. Use the magic wand on the line art, select inverse and make the mask, as easy as appeared in the video.

Make the mask

CSP has a buttom on the layer tab that allow you make a mask of almost anything. Once you got your whole mask resolved. Then you can create new layers that can be masked to the main figure you just made.,

Paint

Self explanatory, I've just used this time the stock brushes and blender, along with some materials for the fabric of the kimono, watch the video, everything is in there. It's made on real time and please subscribe to my channel, you can use this link::
