Sharing via iCloud or Dropbox
You can open and save files created in Clip Studio Paint directly to the Cloud Service from the Files app.
Note: Works saved in the Clip Studio app can be moved, duplicated, and deleted using the Files app.
● Using iCloud
Currently, multi-page works are only supported by iCloud. Your iPadOS will need to be updated to the latest version.
Note: You cannot create new multi-page work files on iCloud with iOS12. When creating a new multi-page work, create a folder inside [Clip Studio] first and then store it in iCloud.
For details on accessing folders via iCloud Drive, please see below.
● Using Dropbox
Only single-page works can be directly opened from and saved to Dropbox. Please open a multi-page work after duplicating it from [This iPad] > [Clip Studio] in the Files app.
Note: Where are aware of a Dropbox issue in which files increase in size when they are continuously overwritten.
Sharing with iTunes
Read the following explanations for sharing multi-page work files and multiple files at once using iTunes (also available on Windows).
Connect the iPad to the PC with a cable. When the “Trust this computer?” message shows, tap [Trust] and enter the passcode.
When the iPad icon appears on iTunes, click on it.
After selecting [File Sharing], select [App] > [Clip Studio].
- Share to iPad from other devices
Select the folders you would like to transfer to the iPad, and then drag and drop the file into [Clip Studio Documents].
MacOS users can also transfer the file by clicking [Add File] or [Add] on iTunes.
Note:
For multi-page works, both the page and management files exist inside a single folder. If you need to edit the work on a different device, please transfer the whole folder. Migrating only the files under the folder may corrupt it.
Your work folders will appear on iTunes under [Clip Studio Documents].
Open Clip Studio on the iPad, select [File] > [Open], and select and open the work from [Clip Studio] storage.
- Sharing from iPad to other devices
From [Clip Studio Documents] in iTunes, select the folders you would like to transfer to the computer and click [Save].
When the dialog box appears, select the destination folder in your computer.
Note:
For multi-page works, both the page and management files exist inside a single folder. If you need to edit the work on a different device, please transfer the whole folder. Migrating only the files under the folder may corrupt the file.
The folder containing the works will be transferred to the destination specified with [Save to]. You can edit the transferred work using Clip Studio Paint on your computer.
Note: Wi-Fi network connections
Files can be transfered using Wi-Fi on an iPad iOS 11 or later.
