Hello today I am going to teach you how to draw anime hair

Make the sketch of the face first.

I draw a triangle if I am going to draw a fringe, the tip is where I start the fringe.

Then, I make the sketch (I did it in black to show it, you can do it in gray or lower the opacity to the layer)

I did it in a vector layer to select the `` y '' key to simplify lines (this helps the lines not look so shaky)

I make a layer of vectors to the top and we make the line-art (personally, it is easier for me to make the line-art with the figure tool, they are curved lines etc).

I'm going to give you a tip, if you make a lot of space from one fringe line to another, it will seem that it has a lot of forehead, it is better if you put them together a little.

Now that you have finished the fringe lineart, you can choose if you are going to have long or short hair, if you are going to have a ponytail, etc. and if you don't want to put a fringe, it does not matter, then I will leave some examples.

I put several styles at the same time so that they see how I shade.

If you made the line-art with a vector layer, below that layer we are going to color with a raster layer.

First choose 1 example color: red and from that red choose a dark red, an intermediate one and a light one.

In the raster layer I choose the bucket tool and color with the intermediate tone.

And if the entire sheet is colored it is because your line-art has a space, if it continues to happen you can color it with a brush or contour with the color and select the fill tool again and it has to be colored.

To make the shadows, I divide the hair into sections, in my case, one is the fringe, another is the front hair, the back hair and the ponytail

Each section imaginatively I divide it into 3 parts and in the middle one, I leave it with the tone it was, the ones below and above I put them with the shadow

Then I put some details and they do the same with the others

Sometimes I add a white light in the middle of each section

you select color mix

then select the color mix brush

and you begin to scratch the hair of shadow towards the light the brush, recommended of a small size as they are accommodated.

It is like dragging the color or when you mix the paint in traditional

the light in the middle I just move the brush in circles to blur and if you feel that something is missing somewhere, put it with a normal brush and blur again

ready now you have your anime style hair

my instagram is miniuxreynoso

the only brush I used was Maru 3.
