welcome folks!

you might think, is this a kind of joke where's the pose tutorial but trust me u should grab on these shapes first...

okay let's make some body parts..

you can use either box or sphere to make a torso, the thing is to use 3d shapes.

yup! that's what you see...

people often forget to add neck while posing stuff out, so don,t have your head on your shoulder...

Also never join the jawline because we are not made of lines but 3d organic volumes...

so don't get overexcited by lines, try to find 3d stuff.

Here's an example of using 3d shapes.

Don't be rigid

some people say never use stiff lines, and what I would say is who the heck make these rules, this is art use whatever u feel like.

Gesture or line of action.

you can get crazy with the gestures..., you can further refer to matt jones's line of action.

balnce

Also, keep balance in mind .. your character should not fall, the center of gravity should be in the center.

let's do it.

visualize the same character and practice its possible gestures.

do some life studies, it will improve your sketch and form a visual library.

keep it rough and loose.

study from movies and the work you like.

use box technique to make foreshortening poses. and if you find it difficult then wait here and learn some of the perspective stuff.

turn arounds can help you so many professionals use these to make character sheets.

That's all, for now, folks will meet you guys next time till then keep drawing and making stories.

Bonus tips

Rather than being good at it, be consistent.

Also, I would prefer clip studio because it has pencil tools and that makes a difference.

for me, it feels like drawing on paper.

also don't get yourself limited to human stuff try to do animal and bird study too.

BYE!

later you can put all what you have learnt to 3d applications.
