How to animate in CSP for beginners cute heart animation

Hello! In this tutorial I will show you how to make easy animation in Clip Studio Paint. Perfect for beginners and art lovers, because here I wanna better emphasize on the basic things you need to know, starting animate in Clip Studio Paint.

All process here:


Let’s create new animation project by clicking File -> New:

Select animation project and click OK.

Now tap Window -> Timeline. You will see magic window with so many different options.

Also you can turn on symmetrical ruler (if you want):

1. Sketch animation

Look at the Timeline and find this button. It will create new animation cel/frame.

And this button called onion skin. Turn on it to see previous frame.

Draw heart animation with fun, this is just sketch. Also you can hide the ruler:

Finally heart animation sketch looks like:

2. Perfect lines animation

You can make animation slower or faster, just click Animation -> Timeline -> Change frame rate and change the value.

Then create new animation folder for perfect lines above animation folder of your sketch:

Also add first new animation cel/frame:

Finnaly this cute lines look like:

3. Color animation

Let’s create new animation folder under lines-animation folder — for main color. Do it as before.

Find fill tool and turn on Refer multiple:

4. Shadows

Create new animation folder and cel as before:

Make sure that this folder clipped to previous folder of color and make it in Multiply mode:

5. Light

Add new animation folder for light and new frame as before:

Clip this folder to folder under too, mode — Add Glow:

Export animation by clicking File -> Export animation:
