1. Take a photo of your traditional drawing with your phone. Then, forward that photo to yourself. Download the image. In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, click on [file] then click on [open].

2. Change the opacity level for the traditional sketch to any preferred opacity level.

{Recommended}: create new layer, then use the [fill] tool to create a white blank layer and arrange the white blank layer to underneath the traditional art image.

3. Trace your traditional art with a pen that is either size 5 or under. For the direct draw tools, use the ellipse and straight line type. For the ellipse direct draw tool, change the size to 5 and for the staight line tool change the size to 1.5. After finishing tracing the traditional art with pen, click the eye icon next to the layer to hide or show the tradional art layer.

4. Fill color by using the auto select tool to create a selection of the area if possible. If the magic wand tool won’t help just fill color by hand using pen.

5. For shading, use the approximate color swatches and the airbrush tool to create shadows. Then, for creating tints, texture, or details use the pen tool.

6. Add a new layer. Then, use the color pink to fill color. Change the opacity level from 100% to 22% to create a pink filter. For the grass in the background trace over the black lines with a shade of dark green to create texture.
