Hello.

This time, I would like to introduce the points that I usually pay attention to when creating dynamic artwork and how to practice.

I have summarized the important points very concisely, so please bear with me until the end.

First of all, what are the benefits of drawing characters in dynamic poses?

The advantage I think is

(1) The artwork should be lively and gorgeous.

②Be able to exaggerate what you want to draw (what you want to show) and guide your eyes.

2 points.

Now, I will introduce three methods for drawing dynamic poses that will improve the completeness of your artwork. that is,

① Gesture drawing

(2) Camera (viewpoint)

(3) Manga perspective function

There are three.

①【Gesture drawing】

The first is gesture drawing.

Gesture drawing is a drawing method that expresses the complex movements of the human body with a single dynamic line.

This time, in order to make the drawing easier, I will show you a picture of him sitting on a chair.

For example, this photo of a person sitting on a chair with her legs crossed can be represented by a single red line as shown on the right.

The important thing is not to think too much when drawing a single line, but rather to focus on the impression you get when you first look at it, and to draw in a way that captures the atmosphere.

Once you have a single line that represents the movement of the human body it contains, add the limbs and torso to the line.

In this way, gesture drawing is effective for putting your impression into a picture in a short time.

Gesture drawing is also useful for sketching human bodies in motion.

Therefore, it is a very effective drawing method to make the artwork more alive.

② [Camera (viewpoint)]

Next, I will show you how to use the camera.

What I mean by using a camera is to have a viewpoint that captures the object I want to draw using the camera.

(Of course, if possible, it is also possible to actually take a picture with a camera and use it as a reference.)

The viewpoint of the camera has a position (position) and an angle (angle).

The camera angle (tilt / fukan) can appeal to the emotions of the viewer.

A fukan shot, for example, can make a subject appear weak and small.

Also, tilt shots can make the subject look strong and powerful.

Therefore, even if the subject is not in a moving pose, the subjective emotions of the viewer of the artwork can be dynamically brought out.

③ [Manga perspective function]

The last thing I will introduce is how to use the manga perspective function of CLIP STUDIO PAINT.

This function can be set in the property panel of the 3D drawing figure.

When using the manga perspective function, the parts of the 3D doll near the camera are exaggerated from the actual drawing.

This makes the artwork more powerful and realistic, allowing you to easily draw dynamic poses.

This is the end of the introduction.

I would be very happy if the method I introduced this time is useful for your artwork creation.

Thank you for reading this far.
