[ClipStudio_Tutorial] Pencil Drawing
Introduction
Hello! Your recent graduate for Computer Animation. Binge watcher of the Fringe Division. With a current obsession for Hell’s Paradise. First off this summer has been a much needed reset, let me tell you. I graduated from college with my bachelors, was able to start working full time at a job that has such a healthy workplace environment, and now I can focus on building on my artist vision and truly focus on my direction as an animator. Absolutely pumped, I made it! AHHHHHH! All of those years, all of those blood sweat and tears. On the same path of me working on my portfolio I’ve been getting back into watching my anime, my anime mooooo. It felt like I have reunited with a long lost love, I have found the Gomez to my Morticia!!
Overview of the Topic being Discussed
My name is Alluring Calamity, an artist and an animator who has been using ClipStudio Paint EX. Since I first became addicted to making music videos and cinematic masterpieces of the SIM franchises. But I haven’t made any mods or animations on SIM for a long time. I continued using the ClipStudio paint for the next 10 plus years. Within those years I was able to find a way to make the program moldable to my style of art, and expression for the animations. SOOOOO which brings me to the challenge of Clip Studio paint tips. For the month of August, I decided out of the 3 prompts to do Pencil Drawings to show how well the tool can create ultra realistic to rough gesture sketches of still life and people. In this video I will be showing the tricks and recommended settings to make the pencil personally suited to you. Now come along with me for the adventure of your life and buckle up for the info dumper. MWHAHAHAHAHAH!
References
Crash Course beginning now! You’ll need to find a reference image for where you are going to base your drawing on. You can make your own reference pictures by using that WREEECKKKK tangular device your pocket, or scour the deepest darkest depths of Pinterest to find the hidden gem that is your reference pictures. Make sure to steer away from what is already established such as public known titles for example [insert known shows etc] so do not be afraid to create your own reference photos, bring a friend, a family member maybe been a complete stranger. At your own risk! Please do not risk your life for the perfect reference photo its not worth it…

Closing Remarks

Ooooh congratulations you've made it to the end of the video. I am thrilled to see that you've enjoyed learning more about how to make the pencil tool suitable for your own creations. Trust that using Clip Studio paint will allow for you to customize and save settings for your new or default pencil tools, in order to bring your imagination to life on a canva. Remember that tools that you are uncertain about, anything you don't encounter as much doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to draw with them. There are some settings in the tutorial that I did not go over because I wanted to introduce y'all to the presets that I use and can best go into detail about without overwhelming individuals that are wanting to get a start on using the Pencil Tool. As of right now I feel its best to take it day by day as cheese and annoying as that may sound. Consistent practice makes art that you can appreciate, and love for the development you've grown over time. Imma be joining yall on that boat too, so don't be shy scoot over. Remember that consistency builds progress, copy what you see, study what you copied, practice what you studied from imagination, construct what you observe, study what you observe, then practice what you studied.**
It was a pleasure making this sea creature tutorial and I hope you enjoyed it! Wish all of you artists good luck, this has been AlluringCalamity time to head out, peace!
