Hey! Everyone!

I hope you've been well!

Me? I'm doing my best! I'm drawing!

Now! This time, I'll introduce how to register illustrations, especially patterns, as materials and use them as brush tip shapes.

Knowing this method will broaden your creative activities!

1. First, prepare an illustration. Make sure the layer is a raster layer. Please note that you cannot register materials if it is a vector layer.

2. Select Edit from the menu, select Register Material → Image, and the registration screen will appear.

3. Enter the name of the material and check the two brush material settings at the bottom left of the screen.

Then, on the right side of the screen, decide where to save the material.

This time, I saved it under Color Pattern Design and Other, but you can save it anywhere you like.

There is also a search tag registration below, so I recommend registering tags with your favorite words so you can find it quickly.

Then click OK.

4. Next, select a solid color pen or similar and display the subtool details. (There is a subtool details item in the menu window)

5. On the subtool details screen, select the brush tip, select "Material" on the right, and click the space just below.

A variety of images will appear.

Then, select "Created Material" in the upper left, and the registered images will appear, so select an image from there. (If you have registered search tags, you can easily find them by selecting them.)

6. Then, select "Stroke" from the menu on the left, select the circle mark in the upper right of the screen, and adjust the display interval of the illustration with the parameters below.

7. Then, when you move the pen, the image you just registered will be displayed.

You can easily change the size of the image just like with a normal pen.

You can also adjust the orientation in the subtool details, so I think it will be useful for your creative activities.

If you found the above explanation difficult to understand, I have also posted a video on YouTube, so please take a look if you like.

In that case, I think it will be easier to understand if you set the automatic subtitle setting to your native language.

Thank you for watching until the end.

There are a lot of things happening in the world and it can be depressing.

But please don't stop drawing illustrations.

I will do my best and enjoy drawing.

See you again next time!
