How to make a Simple Sunset

First, we need to draw a sketch of how you want to draw it.

(Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect!)

Now let’s pick some colors for the sketch. I’ve picked the colors Yellow, Green, White, and a sunset gradient.

(Make sure you use darkened  shades, for that real sunset feel.)

Now, for this part you need to add a layer. Drag the layer below the first layer. It should look like this:

The names don’t have to be exact, but it helps to name layers so you don’t mix them up.

Now, let’s switch to “New Layer” by clicking the layer.

Switch to the gradient tool. It should look like this:

It may not be the same icon if you’re using a different tool type.

Get a gradient that is sunset-like, and use it on the second layer. It may take a few tries before it does it the way you like it.

This part is totally optional, and does not have to be done to finish the sunset picture.

Use the Blend tool, and swap to Textured Blender.

Blend the bottom of the gradient, then work your way up to the top. Don’t do it vertical or fast, or you might not get the result you wanted.

Now, swap back to the layer with the sketch and colors. Click Edit, then go to Shading Assist. (If it is not in Edit, you might have to update your CSP app.)

Now, mess around with the shading settings, get it to what you like. Once you are done, click OK, and it will apply.

                                                    + PresstheeyeontheGradientSkylayer,andclickthesketchlayer.Rightclickthelayer,thenclickMergevisiblelayers.Thiswillmergethelayersthataddshadingwiththenormalsketchlayer.Ifyoumergedthegradientlayerbyaccident,thenundowiththeundobuttonorpressCtrl/controlZanditwillundo.

And there you have it, the photo!

Make sure to save before quitting!

Thanks for reading this tip! This is my first tip, and I may make more tips in the future.

(I just noticed that this is probrably not a  simple drawing :P)
