Hello! In this video I will show how I drew a cute jelly bear.

 

I use Clip Studio Paint EX.

 

Start with main logic of this.

First, we draw the main shape.

Next, I want to show the depth of the ball, so I choose a darker and more saturated color.

But it will feel more magical if you draw a bright glow from the inside.

We also remember the light that falls on the object from the environment.

 

Bright white highlights will help to show the object's shine/jelly.

And when we draw a shadow from such transparent objects, we add a little more light to make the viewer understand that the object is transparent.

Now about the pink bear.

 

Click on File, New and create new project, after click OK.

 

Time for a sketch.

 

I choose the main color and on the layer that I create under the sketch, I draw a shape.

Next choose a darker color to show the depth of the bear.

And of course this mysterious glow, as if something is hiding inside. You can even create a new layer in the Add Glow mode for it, but it also can be like that.

When drawing light, special attention should be paid to the edges of the object.

 

This helps not only to improve the volume, but also to separate the parts of the bear from each other.

Of course, we add bright highlights.

Draw the background, if you want, and also the shadow - it should be a little blurred and glowing next to the object.
