This time we will creating an Landsknecht Elephant shrew, a nice creature that you can see from zero to musaragna. For this you will only need to relay in references about the nature of the animal and the costume people used in the high renaissance era (1500's). Pretty much german mercenaries, for that you will only need to go to pinterest.com and start searching for them

 

Raw skecth

for the raw sketch you will try gestures and mostly poses for the little fella, using the references and some anatomy from the animal...remember I am not doing this guys anthropomorphic, I am doin a bipedal Shrew. Then we will add some clothes. course it is based on the historically accurate info we got from pinterest.

Line art

the Line art would be done, using mostly the real g-pen from the pen slots in CSP Pro or EX

Painting

Using the diverse pain brushes that clip studio offer us, We will start painting using layers , correction layers, etc. You can try whatever you want...the important thing is to achieve the effect you a visualizing in your head. Though we are heavily relying in references, we are not painting nature or photorealistic.
