Beginner - Easy: How To Color Eyes
Intro
In this tutorial I will show you an easy way to color eyes.
I use red in this tutorial; you can use any color you want.
Let's get started!
Step 1, 2 and 3
The first step is to choose a color for your eyes.
Step 2, use a warm grey color to shade the eyeball itself. Don't color the pupil just yet
Step 3, Erase a small line at the top of your eyeball for effect. (optional)
Step 4, 5 and 6
Step 4, Choose a warm and dark color for the shadow of the eyes and shade the top part of the eye.
Step 5. Choose a relatively light red color and shade the bottom half.
Step 6. Chose an even lighter caller and add a small circle at the bottom.
Step 7, 8 and 9
Step 7. Add an iris in the center and add a lighter color to the bottom half. Add lines on the side of the iris and darken the sides of it.
Step 8. Choose a nice cool blue color and add soft highlights to the top of the eye.
Step 9. Choose a strong white color and add the main highlights to the eye.
Step 10, 11 and 12
Step 11. Right next to the main reflection of the eye, add a saturated red color. This will add a nice contrast to the eye.
Step 12. (OPTIONAL) Choose the color of the eye and saturate it. Then add a smudge over the top half of the pupil.
AWESOME! We're all set!
