Edit sound effect with liquify sub tool
Liquify sub tool
The Liquify sub tool is a new sub tool added to Clip Studio Paint Ver. 1.11.6 hable to make transformations and corrections in a quick way because this sub tool works with the pen stroke.
This sub tool only works on:
● Raster layers
● Selection layers
● Layer mask
So, to use it, the first thing you have to do is work on someone of the previous layers. Probably, most of user are going to use it on raster layers.
To convert a raster layer, select [Layer] menu> [Rasterize]
Liquify sub tool modes
In total, this sub tool has seven modes. Indicated in the image below and from left to right we have: Push, Expand, Pinch, Push Left, Push Right, Twirl Clockwise and Twirl Anti-Clockwise.
But I will explain them in four groups because some modes simply work in the opposite way to others.
NOTE: I'm going to use a pale purple grid to show you how the mode of sub tool works.
✯Push
This mode is gonnan warp to match the direction of the pen stroke.

Comparison:
✯Expand and Pinch
In both case, as we drag, the imagen will warp to expand or pinch from the center of the pen stroke.
Also, Pressing and holding the pen in the same position will create an expansion or pinch effect. This is my favorite way to use this modes.
Select Expand mode, pressing and holding the pen in the same position.
This is the result, but I want the corners of the text to be smaller, so now I'll use the Pinch mode.
Select Pinch mode, pressing and holding the pen in the same position.

Final result:
Comparison:
✯Push Left and Push Right
In both case, as we drag, the layer stretches to the side of the mode and in the direction of the pen stroke.
I like use this modes by Zig-zag.
Final result:
Comparison:
✯Twirl Clockwise and Twirl Anti-Clockwise
In both, the tool will twirl the image. One mode twirls it clockwise and the other counterclockwise.
Can used by press and hold the pen in the same position to make a continuous twirl.

About adjust of Liquify sub tool
Of course, like most tools, how the modes work can be adjusted via the Sub Tool Detail palette or Tool Property palette.
Basically, this is how the values act:
You have to play with these values to amplify and/or reduce the effects of the modes.
Have luck and health!
