Hey Artists!

You might feel, “Drawing Water is Hard!!!!” But Don’t be Disappointed as there is a Solution for Everything!

Here I will show You How to Draw Water in Just 10 Easiest Steps! This Tutorial Is not Only Going To help You but Also Make Your Drawings Magical 😉 It will help You to draw Swimming Pools, Sea Waters etc.

So Let's Get Started!!!

 

STEP 1 - LAYER 1

Add The Base Color

You Can Also Choose A Lighter or Darker Shade According To Your Preference.

I have used the "Fill Tool" To color the base

 

STEP 2 - LAYER 2

Choose The "Soft" Airbrush From The Sub Tools and use a bright color than the base color and apply.

TIP: Use Bright Colors above it for More Light Effects

STEP 3 - LAYER 3

First Draw Irregular Circular Shapes and Connect them with irregular lines to give them a Realistic Effect with the Pen Subtool. I have used the "Turnip Pen" but You can choose any other pens too. Also add some thick lines in between the lines to show it more realistic.

(Blending Mode - Add)

STEP 4 - LAYER 3 COPY

Now We have to add Shadows!

 

To Add Shadows:

1. Duplicate Layer 3

2. Choose Layer 3 Copy"

3. In the color wheel choose Black Color

4. Go to <Edit> Choose <Convert to drawing color>

5. With the <Move Layer> Option in the Tools, Shift the Layer a bit to any sides that make you feel comfortable as shadows

6. Lower the Opacity to 20% (You can lower the opacity according to your choice)

 

STEP 5 - LAYER 4

Add Random Lines and Change The Opacity to 40% to 50%

STEP 6 - LAYER 5

Use The "Soft" Airbrush Tool and Add Some Glow Textures to your drawing.

After Using the Airbrush Tool, Go to <Filter> <Blur> <Gaussian blur> and Add Gaussian Blur as per your choice.

Blending Mode - Add (Glow)

STEP 7 - LAYER 6

Add Glow Shades to The Part where more sunlight is reflecting.

Choose Blending Mode <Add(Glow)>

Change The Opacity according to your Preference

STEP 8 - LAYER 7

Add Extra Shades (If Required)

STEP 9 - LAYER 8

Go to Subtool [Decoration], Choose "Glitter" Add some Glitters For Magical Effects!

Also Use Gaussian Blur on the layer

STEP 10 - LAYER 9

Add Small Random Lines Or Add Shades if Required.
