Fool-style background drawing method, you can also become a master
For many people, drawing backgrounds can be quite troublesome, especially for people without any painting foundation. It can be said to be a disaster. Today, I will use my own experience to lead you to break through this barrier and enjoy painting. pleasure.
First of all, we need to have an idea in mind before painting the background. What kind of thing do you want to paint? Is it a natural scenery? Is it a modern building? Or interior architecture? You don’t need to draw these ideas carefully, just like me, just draw a rough outline. As you can see in the picture, I am painting a natural scenery. The main subject is the house in the middle, and the snowy mountains are behind it.
Okay, after drawing the sketch, let's draw the house first. Use a polygonal lasso to outline the shape of each part of the house one by one, and then fill in the colors to turn them into color blocks. (At this time, you need to pay attention to the proportion of the house in the entire picture and the color matching of the color blocks. This is very important. Relevant to the subsequent coloring).
The next step is to apply color on the color block. I applied it with a thick ink paint brush. There are several principles to be respected when applying colors. The first is to apply a color similar to the color block in the previous step; the second is to apply an environment color, as if my background is a house in the forest, then What affects the color of a house is not only its own original color, but also the traces left by time or the green left by moss, which all need to be applied slowly; the third is light and shade. A building has shadows and reflections in nature. , so you can deepen the color appropriately at this time and distinguish the light and dark as much as possible.
Then add details, including the texture of the tiles and chimneys, the railings of the windows (I drew the railings with straight lines and then used a soft brush to create a rough relationship between light and dark, and finally used a G pen to highlight the reflections), the shadows of the wooden doors and the chairs. texture. After finishing the painting, I felt that the details were not enough, so I could add embellishments such as bells and green plants.
After the house was painted, I used a leaf brush to paint green plants on the exterior wall of the house. They looked like ivy or morning glory. Please note that when painting green plants with a brush, you need to repeatedly apply them according to the depth of the color. Three layers of color, and then use the smudge tool to paint the green plants casually to make their border lines less rigid. Similarly, the grass and flowers in the lower right corner of the house are painted in the same way.
Then we painted the lawn and pavement. Using the method just now, we first checked a color block, then filled it with color, and then found similar colors and applied them randomly according to the principle of nearness, depth and lightness of the color block.
Use thick ink to paint the details. The lawn also needs to be painted with a prairie brush to draw the grass tips. It should be noted that the lawn is thick, and a dark border line should be painted on the edge with a brush. To highlight the texture of the dirt road, use thick ink brushes to slowly draw out the cracks, moss, and changes in light and shade on the ground. After the painting is completed, use a thick ink brush to adjust the transition between the colors on the edge of the lawn, the dirt path and the feet of the house.
After completing the previous step, you need to draw dotted grass and stones on the lawn and dirt road. Be careful not to draw them together, but make reasonable choices based on the density of the picture. The method of drawing grass has been explained and will not be elaborated further. The same goes for stones. First draw the color block, and then draw the shadow part on the basis of the color block (stones are irregular and sharp objects, so do not draw them into rounded corners or spheres when drawing color blocks). Then add a layer of color randomly to the light and dark parts respectively. A few blades of grass should also be drawn at the feet of the stone, and all embellishments must be shaded.
The middle shot is drawn with a dry tree trunk brush. Always pay attention to the relationship between density and density in your mind and the relationship between the pictures.
Use the leaf brush to paint the trees in the distance and airbrush a darker color behind the trunks.
When drawing trees, pay attention to the coloring principle of near, deep, and shallow, and know where the sunlight will probably hit. Then use the leaf brush to draw the branches and leaves in the upper left and right corners. After completing this step, use the brush for the trees behind the house. The Gaussian Blur of 6 was used to blur the image, and now the image seems to have a certain sense of depth.
Use the same method of coloring blocks to draw the mountains in the large vista. Pay attention to filling the background color with a color with higher grayscale and brightness.
Use the same method of drawing stones to draw mountain peaks. You also need to use similar colors to color them. However, the color blocks of mountain peaks are sharper than those of stones, so don’t be afraid, just feel free to scribble!
Let's continue to improve the picture by filling the sky with gradient color, and then use the Rudao Cloud brush to fill in a few strokes at will, so that the general effect is already out.
Finally use the Wooden Railing brush to paint the fence. Open a new overlay layer and use a soft brush to paint it so that the spatial relationship of the entire picture can be distinguished (on the overlay layer, paint the near view with black and the distant view with white. If the picture is too dark, you can adjust the layer transparency).
