Monochrome Artwork with Standart Materials (video tutorial)
Introduction.
Hello, thank you for visiting this tip!
Here you will find a drawing process where I share some hints about Clip Studio Paint options for black-and-white artworks (in manga style).
This tutorial contains some advise on:
quick object drawing hints;
how to make a clean lineart that looks "alive";
quick volume rendering;
selection fill tool;
the usage of CSP image materials;
adding some final "points" to the drawing to make it look better.
Hope you will find some of these useful!

Below you can see standart tools I used for this drawing, shown in the order as they appear in the video tutorial.
Options used.
To change the layer color (I used this for sketch layers):
[Layer Property] - [Effect] - [Layer color]
Click on the "layer color" button.
(Everything on this layer will turn blue, but you can change it to any color you want by filling in
the "layer color" or "sub color" below in the options.)
To change the colored areas into screentones:
[Layer Property] - [Effect] - [Tone]
Click on the "Tone" button.
Everything on the layer will turn into dots.
You can specify the frequency of dots right below the button.
Here it is, thank you for reading till the end.
