I live in Tokyo. I like drawing illustrations about fairy tales, folklore, and death.

 

Rough sketches

I usually draw my sketches traditionally as it’s easier to check composition.

I draw on a A4 sheet of paper using a mechanical pencil with 0.3 B leads.

 

This time, I themed the sketch around a human marrying a rabbit.

I put the human girl in the upper left, the mother and sister-in-law in the right, and separated them with a branch.

This method sets a theme beforehand and selects objects based on the theme.

With characters and objects, I balance the image by looking at them as flat shapes rather than drawings.
