Free Transform is useful for perspective
[Transform] - [Free Transform]
When transforming a flat image to fit the perspective, the menu [Edit]-[Transform]-[Free Transform] is useful.
How to freely transform objects
For image material layers, use the [Object] tool.
By turning on [Tiling] in the tool properties, you can display a single image in infinite tiling.
Since the menu [Edit]-[Transform]-[Free Transform] command cannot be used on image material layers as is, set [Transform method] in the tool properties to [Free Transform]…
It seems like I can adjust the perspective by manipulating the object handles...
An image that is tiled infinitely will extend beyond the floor of the image (the yellow area).
Tiling display + layer mask
In these cases, create a rectangular selection and create a layer mask on the image material layer.
If a layer mask has been created, you can use the menu [Edit]-[Transform]-[Free Transform] on the image material layer as well.
After that, just like with normal image layers, you can transform it to fit the perspective.
