(1) Sketch

for the sketch I use my own custom brush, in the sketch I like "soft" and "light" lines that gradually define a shape with the strokes, I couldn't find what I was looking for so I had to do it myself and I am really very happy with the result. Has it ever happened to you that a drawing only comes out well if you do it with your favorite brush? Well, that's how I feel with my "not special" brush, it gives me a lot of confidence, it's the beginning of everything, I hope you will be encouraged to try it and hopefully it will make you feel as special as I do.

(1.1) cloud brush

For this drawing I wanted to see clouds, but honestly I'm not very good at drawing them at least not the outline (you can tell in the sketch) so I looked in the asset materials and found this set of brushes, as you can see I drew the shape of the clouds and then lower the opacity of these and draw the outline since in my art I use the line.

(2) Lineart

This set of brushes was one of the first ones I downloaded when I got clip studio, although I knew it didn't go with my drawing style, I just fell in love with it and it never hurts to experiment, so that's what I did. Spoiler: the best decision of my life

Maybe when you see those brushes you only think of a more pictorial work and free brush strokes, but after experimenting a bit (and going crazy, seriously the brushes are beautiful) I found a beautiful brush and I gave it a use that I probably didn't imagine, lineart.

The brush I use to make the lineart of my work is called 適当塗り/湿

(3) Coloring Lock

It is very likely that you already know this eraser because it has become very popular and of course it is extremely useful, it saves a lot of time, especially for people like me who are extremely perfectionists so that the paint does not come off the edge of the lineart, if still You have not tried it, I recommend it 1000%.

I usually use it to block out the various parts of my drawing eg face, hand, dress, each cloud on a different layer so I have more control of the work.

(4) Time to add color

Oh surprise this beautiful set again remember I said those brushes didn't go with my drawing style? Well I made them part of my style

The brush I use to color is 塗料普通/平

(4.1) Colored brush

When I tried this brush my mind exploded, I can't explain how much I LOVE this brush, I'm not sure how it works I just know that it does.

The brush is called 不規則塗り/二色

When painting he does it with the two colors that we have chosen, in this case it is a salmon and purple color

(4.2) Blur brush

With this brush I blur the edges that I think are very "hard" when I'm painting, I like it a lot and I use it a lot because when it blurs it leaves a texture I feel like it gives a unique touch. I use it all the time when coloring

(4.3) brush with dots

This brush is one of my favorites, it has a texture or pattern of dots, I like the touch it gives to the drawing, in this case I used it on the clouds and as you can see I blurred with the brush mentioned above.

(5) Final details

Already with the finished drawing I add texture
