How to paint in CSP using the color mixer
Intro
Today I want to show you a tool that I found quite interesting to test colors, create mixtures and thus better nurture our color palettes, this tool is the clip studio paint color mixer integrated with the new update.
The color mixer has become one of my favorite elements within this program, it is an element that does not take up so much space and brings the essentials to play, experiment and create interesting palettes with colors.
In addition to this I will show you a practical exercise with the video attached to this article.
Why use it?
The color mixer is a complement to the workflow, it allows us to manage colors in a clean way and outside our canvas, in addition to the good integration it has with the program's mobile app, which will allow us to have a better integration of this function when using our mobile as an extension.
knowing the tool
At this point it is important to know where the tools of our mixer window are. We have a simple interface where most of the tools are located in the lower part of the window.
We find the different samples that we can add with the “+” button that is on the right side, and if we right click we can delete the samples that we have selected.
In the lower toolbar we will find 3 different sections:
• In the first (yellow) we find the button to clean, back and forward. I emphasize at this time that the control + z does not apply in this window, we will have to solve it with the back button.
• The second (blue) has the 3 base sizes of the mixer brush.
• The third (red) contains the brushes that will be used to mix color and the eyedropper.
practical video
Now we move on to the practical part, which I have recorded for the most part in the video below:
