Organizing Brushes
Tools are organized as following:
1) The main tools
2) subtool groups
3) subtools - in this example brushes ... but it could be a ruler, or a selection tool too!
Duplicating and resetting a Brush
With 1) you can duplicate the selected tool, that's a good way to start!
2) resets the tool to it's saved settings... so if you mess a brush up, you can reset it here.
3) opens the Subtool Detail Palette where you can see all the options to customize your brush.
The Tool property panel
1) In the "Tool property" panel you can see the most important wettings for each tool. The displayed settings are most of the time different because every tool has it's specific purpose and there are just too much settings available.
Customizing your Brush in the Subtool Detail Palette
1) If you open the Subtool Detail Palette you can see this button on the right of a settings slider.
1) Here you can see all the different input methods: Pen Pressure, Tilt, Velocity and Random.
2) You can assign a minimum and maximum value and also...
3) create custom dynamic curves, which is really cool!
Just go crazy with this!
