And today we will learn how to use the ruler tool on clip studio paint in 4 easy steps.

RULERS OVERVIEW

We have the 8 default rulers: FIGURE Ruler, LINEAR Ruler, CURVE Ruler, SYMMETRICAL Ruler, SPECIAL Ruler, PERSPECTIVE Ruler, Ruler and Guide, within these rulers there are many shapes and settings that can be changed or adjusted and customized rulers can be added!!

STEP 1

Draw a rough sketch or rough outline of your illustration!

STEP 2

Apply the LINEAR RULER to all of your straight lines!!!

STEP 3

Use the pen or pencil tool to draw over the ruler!!!

STEP 4

Use the eraser tool until your lines are clean and straight!!!!
