Welcome to this tutorial to draw beautiful and tender desserts! It might seem difficult to draw desserts for the first time, but nothing could be further from the truth! So if you want to draw these sweets easily stay and watch this tutorial :3!

In this tutorial you will learn how to draw:

✨ strawberries with chocolate

✨ cupcakes

✨ pancakes

Strawberries with chocolate

Sketch

To start making a sketch, I strongly recommend that you take inspiration from real photographs to make a good drawing. For these drawings, I especially used Pinterest and was inspired by images of strawberries that I found in the application.

Lineart

In the lineart we will refine the details and give a better shape to the chocolate, one detail to mention is that later we can erase some parts of the lineart, this is to give the drawing a better appearance so trust the process

Colored

I chose heart patterns for the wrapping ✨

To make the white chocolate, simply place a new layer on top of all the others and start making lines with the brush, this way we will simulate the chocolate strips.

Now with colors 1 or 2 tones lighter than the base tone we will add the highlights, also apply a yellow/green tone near the strawberry leaves and blend

It's almost ready! But first let's not forget the strawberry seeds, so to do that we add a new layer:

In the “layer property” section we will give it the border effect that is found with the circle icon:

Then we double click on the white strip that is below the thickness of the border, and we will change the color to black (this will leave the borders black)

Once the layer is configured, with the pencil we make small lines with a yellow or white base color:

This is how our strawberries with chocolate turned out! (=^v^=)

Cupcakes

Sketch

As I mentioned before, to make the sketch we will use dessert images as inspiration!

Lineart

Add colorful sprinkles, I made them by hand, but you can do it with the border layer too!

Colored

We will add the base colors, this time I chose yellow and pastel blue for the cream and wrapping, but you can change it for other colors!

Add a little light to the cherries~

Now to shade the cupcake so that the muffin has the texture that you will see in the image below, in the “subtool [pencil]” section we will use the mechanical pencil (the pencil can also be used)

Now also with the mechanical pencil we add the missing lights:

This is how our adorable cupcakes turned out! (=^v^=)

Pancakes

Sketch

Lineart

If you noticed, for the lineart, I omitted certain details, like the inside of the strawberries (since we will do this in the coloring, and it does not need lineart)

Colored

Use a cream color for the base and another darker tone (it can be medium brown) for the shadow and with the mechanical pencil we will paint the top part of each pancake to give the toasted/stitched sensation to the bread ✨

Also with a lighter color than the base, we will illuminate when the shading begins

We add base color to the strawberry and cream

Also to the syrup in another separate layer

Now to give the “syrup” effect we lower the opacity of the layer by 20%, and add highlights

To give a more yellow/golden color to the syrup, we added an overlapping layer and painted small sections of the syrup with gold color.

We also make the details of the strawberry

Clip studio material (napkin)

We can quickly make the napkin with clip studio materials!

We add a layer below the coloring and paint it any color

We take the material and throw it on the canvas

The layer of material is superimposed on the layer that we painted previously

Now to change the color of the pattern, we simply go to edit > tonal correction >> hue/saturation/luminosity

This is how the fluffy pancakes turned out! (=^v^=)

Final result!

If you made it this far, thank you very much! I hope this tutorial has been useful to you!
