Learn to draw dynamic+perspective poses
There might be a beginner or a beginner comic artist that wants to be really good at dynamic poses, just like Solo Leveling does. I will break it into three tutorials to follow and enjoy drawing dynamic poses while at it.
Dynamic and Perspective
As you can see, dynamic poses are pretty simple to understand after seeing this. If you are an intermediate dynamic artist, the secrete of perspective dynamic poses are. EXCESSIVE BODY SHAPES. In more precise, the more close an object or parts of the body in the camera/eyes, the bigger it is. Look at your hands in the far view and closer view. As you do that, the more your hands get bigger and smaller, that's what I call perspective. Perspective and Dynamic might have similarities, but no, it's not.
It's a bit messy, but it's not as bad as I usually do.
Use of Dynamic Reference
To make a good dynamic pose, you need a reference.
As an artist we all need a reference, people misunderstood dynamic because its meaning is pretty simple to understand, but that doesn't mean every single movement you do is dynamic.
Dynamic is a pose that shows expressive movements of the body, not just posing with little movements.
Where to start before doing perspective dynamic poses
Using reference to study is also essential in learning how to draw perspective dynamic poses
As a beginner artist, you might struggle to know what you gonna learn first, so let's make it simple by simplifying a drawing as a simple shape form.
Let's use my old drawing for reference.
They are cute, I know (Please don't judge me, I'm just too proud of myself.)
Let's give it a low opacity to see more clearly when we will layout our basic shapes.
After doing it, we can start messing around with the picture itself.
I will only use circles and squares because that's a good shape; even if it looks like a rectangle, I still see it as a square but stretch out, and I don't want to spell rectangle every time because it's taxing to do.
Let's apply the shapes. Remember only use simple shapes that you can remember easily.
Shapes can help you map out every single thing, so make use of it.
Don't push yourself too hard, just slowly but surely learn and what you can afford for your time to learn.
Time isn't gold; it's your own decision what kind of pace you want it to be in art
