01. Choose the right font

First of all, I will look at the image of the skin and the standard color to find a suitable font.

If you have no idea, you can first think about the font thickness and square and rounded corners.

For this one, I would like to find a thicker font that is round and fat. It feels cute and would be more suitable.

I will find more fonts that fit my feelings and put them together to see which one I like better.

Because the standard colors are already paid, you can choose directly.

If the image you get does not have a standard color, just choose the color that is most common on the character first.

02. Adjust the font spacing and add English

In fact, it is faster to use PS to adjust the font spacing.

In CPS, I dismantle them one by one and adjust them...

If you need English, arrange it in the same way and try a few more.

English and Japanese in the picture below are in different fonts

There are no tricks here, just pleasing to the eye.

After trying it out, I think it’s cuter if it’s all lowercase.

The prototype is almost there

03. Prepare material patterns related to the character

Make or find some pictures related to character names and images

Really no features at all

Just use glitter, stars, and hearts that most characters can use.

Of course it would be best if you can draw the material yourself

Add the material according to the prototype

You can come up with ideas based on the character settings

For example:

This character is a cat, so a cat paw cat jumping platform is added.

In addition, the characters have many love elements and the heart-shaped elements are also included.

If it is difficult to draw a pattern up

You can try changing the stroke color and adding materials.

04. Finishing

You can try adding some light and shadow changes to increase richness.

You can add an outer frame to avoid blurring with the background.
