Magazine comic book style text setting
The dialogue in manga magazines published in Japan has distinctive fonts, line spacing, and other settings.
Please refer to the following for text settings.
■Font → Select [I-OTF Antique StdB]
■Font size → 10-14pt is often used
■Line spacing → 125%
Line spacing can be switched between [pt]/[%]. Check the line spacing unit in the subtool details. Set the text direction to [Vertical].
125% line spacing is the standard value, so it doesn't matter if you go a little further or further. Some magazines use 130% line spacing.
Ruby Settings
Furigana is called ruby. To add ruby to kanji, click [Ruby] → [Ruby Settings] in the SubTool Details and enter the characters.
The basic line spacing for lines with ruby is set to 150%. 2 times 25% = 50 → 150%.
If you have set the line spacing to 130%, it seems easier to balance it if you set the line spacing for the ruby to around 160%.

Speech bubble
Please check the link for details on how to use the balloon tool to draw balloons.
For the speech bubble subtool, we recommend the [Rounded Corner Speech Bubble], which is easy to fit text inside.
There is no problem with drawing the speech bubble by hand like any other drawing, but in vertical scrolling manga, it seems that there are more situations where it is more advantageous to use the speech bubble tool. Try out the tool a few times and see how it can be used.
