Teach you how to draw "wireless painting background"
Hello everyone, welcome to KKDRAW, my name is KK.
This time I'm going to teach you how to draw a wireless painting background.
The above is the background I painted, and the following will tell you my drawing process step by step~
The brushes I use:
1. Flat Thick Colouring Brush 2 / Flat Thick Colouring Brush 2
2. Realistic pencil
3. Application & Fusion
(The latter two were originally in CSP)
1. Draw the subject and sense of front and back:
Before you start painting, you must know what the "subject" you want to paint is.
Taking this painting of mine as an example, I used to start with the "cloud" first, because after drawing the cloud, it is easier for me to confirm what to draw in the "secondary" scene. Of course, it is also because the cloud is a better background element to draw, so it is better to draw it early and plan what to draw on the screen.
As for the large-area objects I draw on the subject, I usually use the "Thick-Coat Flat Pen 2", because this brush is better for large-area thick coating, and it is easier to mix colors.
↑The main body of the screen is "clouds", using a thick-coated flat pen 2
↑The secondary scene of the screen "mountain", using thick-coated flat pen 2
---------------------------------Next, after confirming what the main and secondary scenes are, the "front and back relationship" of the screen should be drawn. As long as the front and rear sense of the screen is made, the viewer will not feel that the screen is too flat, and the viewer's line of sight will be Generate a viewing direction from near to far.
↑Foreground "cloud"
↑ Middle view "Maeyama"
↑Back view "Back Mountain"
2. Add details according to the position of the light:
Before starting to draw the details, in order not to draw out the edges, and to change the overall composition, there is a "locked transparent primitive" in the "layer" area. Remember to turn on the correct layer to ensure that you will not draw beyond the edge. !
When the overall composition and front and back feel are done, you can refine the picture!
So first of all, we must confirm where the "light" is and why? Because the content to be refined next must be drawn according to the position of the light, so as to ensure that the overall sense of space of the picture is correct.
Then, when I draw the details according to the light, I usually start with the "shadow" first. That's because when we draw illustrations, we basically open a white canvas to draw, so when composing the picture, it will automatically set aside The main seat of the light (the whitest place is the light place). At this time, because there are bright spots, the shadows are easier to draw.
Take this painting as an example, the shadow will be concentrated on the "outside" of the picture. This is because the light is in the middle, so naturally the shadow is on the outside~
Finally, show you the distribution of shadows and bright surfaces, and try to keep the picture even, so as to ensure a comfortable viewing experience. In addition, it is recommended that the shadow ratio of the big tree below is not more than that of the subject, which will cause the feeling of imbalance between the subject and the secondary picture.
3. Brighten and darken:
Then come to the brightening and darkening part. In this part, the method I use is quite special. To put it simply, I first draw all the dark parts, and then use the eraser tool to erase the bright areas. Below are the detailed steps of drawing↓
---------------------------------1. On the layer to be darkened (where there is a small thumbnail), press and hold ctrl+left button to generate the selected range
2. Then add a new layer above
3. Then add a mask on the newly added layer
4. Change the blending mode above to "Color Value Added"
5. Use the brush of "Smear & Melt" to draw the shaded part
6. Use the "Eraser Tool" to erase the shiny surface
---------------------------------Then probably after adding the dark part, it will be as shown below↓
But at present, only the dark part is more obvious, so the bright part also needs to be strengthened.
Use the "overlay" in the blending mode, and then use the "realistic pencil" to draw the bright surface. At this time, the color of the bright surface can be selected from the warm color system, that is, to separate from the dark part to make the overall level more obvious.
4. Check the overall feeling:
Finally, in order to make the color gradation of the picture richer, I am used to adding some bright blue to the dark part, and adding a layer of halo for the bright side.
In the end, I usually add a layer of "Berlin Noise" to give the picture the texture of watercolor paper. The following is the "Watercolor Paper Texture" Berlin noise production method.
Select "Filter" → "Draw" → "Berlin Noise"
As for the value, please refer to the picture~
Finally, change the blending mode of the layer to "Soft Light", and you're done!!!
