Hello everyone, today I want to introduce the proportions and drawing methods of the most commonly drawn 3/4 face. First of all, I will teach you the video.

Next is the finished look, as shown in the figure below.

First draw a circle. Remember to draw a circle. If you can’t draw a circle, you can use short lines to form a circle, or use the circle tool to draw it. Then divide the circle into quarters from top to bottom, as shown in the figure below.

Then divide the circle up and down horizontally, and divide the middle and bottom parts into three equal parts, and add another equal part down, and the bottom line is the position of the chin, as shown in the figure below.

Then the horizontal dividing line of the circle is the upper edge of the eye, and the lower edge of the eye is 2/3 of the lower part of the circle, so that the upper and lower edges of the eye come out, and the left and right outer edges of the eye are located from the left to the left. The middle of the second equal part counted from the right and the middle of the third equal part counted from left to right, so that the range of the eyes comes out, as shown in the figure below.

Then divide the eyes vertically into three equal parts, as shown in the figure below.

And 2/3 of the eye width is the width of the inner eye, and the distance between the two eyes is the circular vertical equal part, half of the middle one equal part, as shown in the figure below.

Then you can draw the face of the character. The intersection of the lower part of the circle and the vertical third is the turning point of the chin, and the upper part of the bottom edge of the circle is the position of the mouth, as shown in the figure below.

Then we can draw the head shape and ears. Of course, the head shape will be slightly elongated, especially the position where the back of the head meets the ears. It needs to be flattened, because at this angle, the back of the head will not be too convex. As shown below.

Next is the position of the nose, the position of the nose, I will first draw a triangle with the shadow under the nose, I grab the chin and the ratio of the person is 3 to 1, the chin is 3, and the ratio of the person is 1. As shown below.

Next, you can draw the eyes. The shape of the eyes can be drawn as you like, but it should be drawn within the eye frame. I drew the shape of the eye with the end of the eye higher than the head of the eye, and the pupil is looking at the lens. So the inner eye will be close to the right, and the outer eye will be a little bit left on the far right, as shown in the figure below.

Since the focus of this article is on the proportions and angles of the face, I won’t go into details in the following drawing methods, and then draw the neck and upper body, as shown in the figure below.

The hair follows the three-dimensional sense of the head shape, and the starting shape is drawn, mainly with a large piece of hair, and no thin hairs are drawn, as shown in the figure below.
