sorry if the thumbnail is in english but custom ;)

I was thinking many times about whether to make this video or not but I decided to do it to kill the leisure.

By the way, I made a mention of SakimiChan for his drawings that really captivated me and inspired me to leave you this tutorial on how to make synthetic leather very similar to how Sakimi draws it, but not in the exact way, so you have been warned.

I hope it works for you.

free to ask if you want :)

And without further ado, let's begin:

1.- Create a new File

2.- Add the base color of your choice (in this one, almost if you want to try, you can use black) with the help of the Fill tool.

(before I mark step 3 it is necessary to emphasize that you do not necessarily have to add another layer for the light but it is also valid within the same black layer)

3.-we take the Airbrush->Soft tool to add the light, it is essential that the level and orientation of the light are adequate to carry out this action.

You can also slightly darken it if you find the brightness too noticeable with the same tool mentioned above.

4.-now for the wrinkled part we will use the airbrush again but oriented horizontally, later we will see why

5.- After that, the Liquify button is pressed to create the following effect when the fabric is wrinkled and adapts to the body, in this case in the breasts when we draw the dress of a character (only as an example)

6.- To create the slightly scratchy texture of the fabric, we must go again to the spray but this time to the Noise type, using only the black and white colors we will obtain the following:

Do you change your mind as to what color you would like to choose to wear it? here is a trick

7.- (extra) we take the Fill tool with the preferred color and with another separate layer (this time an independent layer) we fill it normally and going to the combination modes last we can choose the one that makes the chosen color stand out.
