Hey everyone! In this post, I’ll show you all how to convert your photos into cool manga images.

Step 1

Before anything, make sure you have the exact photo that you want. Once you do, go to “edit” at the top of the screen in ClipStudioPaint. Next, click on “Remove Tones” and “Change tones to grayscale” in order to turn the image into grayscale.

Step 2

After the image is converted into grayscale mode, go to “Edit” again.

Step 3

Next, click on “Tonal Correction.”

Step 4

Now, click on “Posterization.”

You can choose the levels and intricacy of the posterization. I usually use levels 4 and 5, and sometimes level 8!

Step 5

Now you’ve successfully converted your photo into a perfect manga background!! You can experiment with the different levels to create the right effect. I hope you’ve found this useful!!
