Hi everyone! In this tip I will teach you how to create both interesting and likable characters! I hope you find this useful!

Step 1: Rough Sketches

Start sketching your characters out! This helps you to get kind of an idea of their personality by just looking at them. Come up with names, too! You can try google generators if you want!

Step 2: Personality

On the same page you drew a sketch of your character, write all of the traits they have! EX Trait: Shy. Try this generator for help!

Step 3: Background Story

What happened to your characters before the events of the story? Was their life sad or happy? What kind of life do they lead?

EX: When she was three, both her parents died in a car accident.

You can try generators if you want!
