First of all, we need to understand the relative proportions of the basic facial features at the very beginning. After understanding the relative proportions of the basic facial features, we have to try to draw various angles to have a basis, instead of drawing faces. , didn't know how to draw myself, but drew a scary monster!

But because the proportions of the facial features of the face are actually more complicated, it can also be very professional and in-depth, so here, in order to allow you to quickly and easily draw faces from various angles, we use a simpler face and facial features. Scale to explain!

 

First of all, we draw a cross line on the center of the circle. The horizontal line of the cross line is the position of our eyebrows. Then the straight lines in the upper half and the lower half are divided into three equal parts. The top 1/3 is the hair The bottom 1/3 is the bottom of the nose, and finally add another 1/3 of the length to the bottom of the circle, which will be our chin. Basically, after grabbing the relative proportions of these facial features, You can start trying to use this ratio with the following techniques to draw heads from various angles!

Trick 1. Sliced spheres + hanging jaws

In fact, we can simply regard the human head as a sphere with a thin slice sliced on the left and right sides. The center point of the circular plane sliced on the left and right sides hangs on the lower jaw of our face. This is the simple structure after we simplify the human head.

We can first try to draw such a structural volume with several different angles.

Then we can mark the relative proportions of the facial features we just know.

Technique 2. Sphere + a piece of paper

Just wrap half of a sphere with a piece of paper!

But in order to make the sphere covered by half of the paper closer to the facial features of the face, we can make the height of the paper equal to 7/6 of the diameter of the sphere, and then we can try to draw with such a simplified structure of the human head All different angles!

 

Then, we can draw several different angles based on this structure.

And mark the relative proportions of the facial features.

At this time, we can follow the same technique as the previous one, and directly draw the details of the facial features directly on these simplified head structures from different angles!
