Easily draw an illuminated landscape
Introduction
Hello everyone
I give myself ArtWandafoul and in this training we will overcome the problems of drawing an illuminated landscape as easily by highlighting the light, the shadows and adding to this a night environment
preparation
To begin with we are going to make a sketch for this we are going to create a new layers in which we are going to start the sketch using the G pen which should give us this
Sketch
for this tutorial I opted for an illuminated street with Christmas trees as an ornament with people and buildings with posters all using a vanishing point and with garlands as bright
Inking
For this step we are going to lower the opacity of the layer intended for the sketch to facilitate inking and make the drawing even cleaner, all this while ensuring that we correctly get the shape of the buildings, garlands, Christmas trees and many more. 'others…
Coloring
For the coloring we opted for Christmas colors namely (red, yellow, blue and many others...) in this step we create a simple layer below that of the inking which should allow the colors to chooses does not tire the inking
Dark fog effect
In this part it is a question of creating a night effect to be able to bring out the brilliance of the different lights in our street and above all to add ambiance to it, through the different poster garlands and Christmas trees, so for this we go to a First, create a new layer which will be modified to darkness and we will choose a slightly dark color for this night effect.
This layer is created above that of the coloring to allow this one to dominate the colors and provide this more considerable effect and also all this depending on the color chosen as in the previous image which should give this effect on our illustration
Setting shadows and lights
In this step it is a question of creating two layers one for the light configured in (inlay) and the other configured in (product) for the shadows all this above the layers (coloring, darkness…) and subsequently we add the shadows depending on the different light areas in our illustration
Highlighting lights
In this step we create a new simple layer above that of the coloring and the darkness. Subsequently, using either the g pen or the most realistic one, we will recolor our different areas of light, namely all the garlands. the windows and put the dotted lines in the sky synonymous with stars, after having put all the lights in place we move on to the gradient effect using the Airbrush tool all this by passing around each area of light to create a gradient effect and improve the brightness of our illustration and finally using the snow asset tool we add some snow bubble to better decorate our illustration which will give us the following final result
Conclusion
It was a question for me throughout this training to show you how to draw an illuminated landscape with the atmosphere of the Christmas party, all this while making the task easier with simple tools and the techniques that go with it, I hope that you liked it more and above all thank you
