You should always use good reference photos of what you want your hybrid to be made out of, and to see them from multiple angles. If you’re making animal hybrids you should also watch a video of the animal or see it irl to really understand its movements, complexity and textures. It’s a lot easier to draw what you know! Also, you should really decide on your setting beforehand, because you can adjust clothing, light and character design a lot better. If you plan on putting them in a jungle, a ball gown wouldn’t be recommended. So really understand what you want to create. Get to know your character before you bring them to life 🩷
