Some information

Before we get started we need to know the structure of the eye! It’s very important when drawing all art styles even realism. Why? Because it allows the eye to come out flawlessly and not too stiff!

Basic Structure!

This is the basic structure of an eye, it includes eyelashes, eyelid, sclera, pupil, and an iris!

 

Fun fact: Did you know all your irises are a shell protecting your sclera which is the white background of your eye?

 

 

Starting the eye!

Today I will teach you how to draw different eyes in my style!

Drawing an Eye in My Style

First we must draw a circle, make sure to do this in pencil if your doing it on paper so you can erase it later!

Now draw to lines to the right at the end of the circle that are parallel (they don’t touch) then connect them to make a tiny triangle

now draw a mini circle in the top, making the eye roll it’s eyes. ( don’t fill it in because we haen’’t done the other steps yet)

Now make a larger dot in the middle of the circle (if you character has special features color the dot differently or add those features)

Make a line above the circle you made with pencil, now put a smaller one under the circle too the one above the circle is the eyelid.

Remember how I said to draw the circle with pencil because we were going to erase it? Yup! Erasing time, just lightly so you can still see it!

Now take a pen or pencil to outline the same circle if you are doing this with a pencil press down on it so it’s darker.

Now time to draw the eyelashes! This one you can do how you want but here are mine!
