This time, we will personify the traditional Japanese dish "Sukeroku sushi".

Before thinking about the design, research the theme using a search engine etc.

Write out the elements that make up the theme

Sukeroku-zushi = inari-zushi and maki-zushi

Sushi rolls

Seaweed, rice, tamagoyaki, kanpyo, cucumber, carrot

Japanese food, colorful, celebration

Inari sushi

Fried tofu and rice

Japanese food, simple, traditional

Then, I think about the design based on the written image.

 

I was determined to become a Japanese character.

At the stage of preliminary research, not only information on Sukeroku Sushi

I also checked information on Japanese clothes and kimonos

Since the design has been decided, I will think about the composition

I decided on the composition on the bottom right

I will draw illustrations
