Introduction

I'm Pacha from Art Wandafoul and in this activity I'm going to show you how to draw a castle as easily as possible using a simple method, achievable by everyone from the beginning to the end of our work.

Beginning

To begin with, I start my sketch using simple lines while bringing out the perspective of my castle, all this thanks to the realistic brush in the toolbar; you can also use perspective lines.

Line

After having brought out the sketch of our castle, it is a question for us here of bringing out the lines of our drawing quite simply taking into account the shape taken by the sketch and giving a shape to our castle

Bonus

You will notice that in this part a lot of lines already stand out, the details of our castle namely (roof, barrier, bridge etc.)

Note: Before you start drawing the castles you must be able to draw the windows, dome, wall etc…

You must already be thinking about the windows and I opted for this style of windows for my castle and will have to design it as we want while knowing that everything will also depend on the style of the castle designed, but we will not only need know how to draw windows but also

The tower in 1 with a loophole, in 2 I have a dome to improve my design and finally the wall in 3 for the tour of my castle.

NB: all this information is necessary for the drawing of a castle, especially knowing several parts in advance.

Inking

After having made the sketch until we can see the different planes we move on to inking at this stage I created several new layers (building, sky, mountains, water, and trees) above that of the sketch which will see its opacity lower to allow the inking of my drawing starting with the building which must include the bridge which accesses my castle.

Building

Bonus

                                       + for the creation of lines as straight easily without having to click at any time on the toolbar I use the combination (**SHIFTMand hold my stylus at a distance and released**) which should give us straight lines and make it easier to draw

Roofing

Subsequently, to make my castle more present, I created a new layer (roof) for the roofs of my castle and thus put more detail in its design and allow the layout of part of my illustration.

Mountain

After all this I move on to another layer (mountain) which should allow me to highlight the mountain and rock in the background and foreground of my castle and thus give a natural appearance to my illustration while improving the view of it. -this, and so we will see a slightly nicer picture

NB: everyone makes the landscape as they think, and the features in the background can be blurred to center the view on the castle

Water, clouds, and sky

To continue our masterpiece we move on to the layer for the watercourse namely (water); here it is a question of highlighting our watercourse around our castle we are going to highlight the waterfalls and also our sky with the clouds, trees, which will give us this in the end.

Coloring

For this step we create a new layer as usual and we put the colors (each here will choose their colors according to their castle) so I opted for this type of colors and a slightly dark atmosphere for I loved the castles (don't hesitate to give me your opinions in the comments).

Shadow and light

For this part we create a new layers that we configure in product mode and then we set our color panel to a little darker gray for the product mode to darken all the colors we pass over and thus give volume to the product. our castle and its surroundings.

In 1 we see the new layer called shadow and in the second the mode configuration area of our layer because generally our layers are configured in Normal mode and then in the same launch we also create another layer for light and this one. This will be configured in Inlay mode which should allow it to lighten all our colors but for this we will have to put a slightly lighter color, in the end we obtain this magnificent castle.

Conclusions
