Introduction

This is a basic tutorial of how to draw hair that looks soft and fluffy. For this tutorial, I used the 993 Coloring pen by ggu3. Download it from here:

Base colour

I am going to use the colour pink for the hair, but you can use whatever colour you want. Start off by drawing a head and then adding hair in the base colour you are using. I'm not going to draw a face, but you can!

Shading and detail

Now we're going to use a darker colour for the shading of the hair. Add shading where you would like there to be overlapping, and on the underside of the hair. Use the same or a darker colour to show the strands in the hair.

Highlights

Now we're again using the same colour as we used for the shadows. We can do this because we are going to change the layer to divide. They are quite subtle, but still visible enough to be highlights.

Background

Now add a background image. You can use one that you downloaded, just use flat colour, or use one that you drew. Or you can always use the decoration brushes that are already on Clip Studio Paint!
