Intro

Hai there! My name is Jan Rigel, I'm an Artist, Cartoonist and also an Animator.

This is my first time made a tutorial video, im sorry due the lagging, i cant do anything because my laptop isnt strong enough.

 

This tutorial is for beginners for drawing a sky in CSP using special brushes.

Basic Knowledge

In my opinio, there are 2 kind of skies. the first one is a Normal Sky

Normal sky is a sky that you can see all day and all time in this planet! you can see it right now on top of your head.

This sky have a different shape of clouds, colors, and usually have additional object like Sun and Rainbow!

 

This sky usually have different color in every time, season and situation. so it's kinda important to know the different it self!

The second one is a galaxy Sky!

The galaxy sky is a very special type of sky. this sky only visible on night and far away from a high Light Pollution area!

 

This sky has a lots of stars, galaxy, nebula, and other beautiful space object!

Brushes and Assets

To draw a sky, you need a special brush because it can save a lot of your time! using a special brush can also make the illustration become better and unique.

That is a brush that i use for draw a sky (i only use few of it)

If you don't want to download any brush, i recommend you to try this awesome brush!

This is a ROUGH WASH brush, you can find it on Realistic sub tool (Press B).

 

This is a awesome brush, because if you use it over and over, it can make a lighter or darker (depends on the color that you use) on a specific area only!

 

You can try practice using this brush with a help from Magic Wand Tool (W).

Magic Wand can make you possible to select a outer color from the brushed area and delete it or make an other color with with other brush (i used air brush. Check the video for the demonstration).

 

Using Magic Wand tool can save a lot of your time and make the shape look perfect and good!
