Hi everyone I wish I could share my trick that I draw profile faces including the warning point that we should know about drawing side face

or you can watch it on my youtube channel

Hope you like it

let's get going!!

For me, before I draw side face I usually draw a skull to use it as a guideline

*** With this we can apply in drawing both women, men and Chibi

Using the ratio of 1/4 to divide the parts, including the neck.

skull

basic structure

1. Draw a circle/sphere first (not perfect that much)

2.Draw the line at the center of the circle

3. Draw a border line on both sides.

4. Mark the point where the two lines meet. This point will be the beginning of the jawline.

And the jaw is also involved in the movement of the mouth.

the importance of this point is It is the connection point between the upper and lower jaws that are used for speaking.

For example,

when we open our mouths, the jaw will move down, but the joint will stay in the same spot.

5. The cervical vertebrae are below the start of the jawline.

6. Cut the line

7. When you get a draft, let's start drawing.

In this way, you can apply it with your own style or the style that you like.

OR For more cutest chibi, we can resize the ratio by

1. resize the ratio for 2.2/4

2. then draw the face with a big cute cheek

3. finish!

Tips and warning point

For the most part, when drawing women and chibi shape is going to be a circles but The men tend to be square.

For example, a woman's jaw is noticeably more rounded than a man's, which is square.

But it can be adjusted by any style of each person.
