If you don't feel like linearting and want to make sure your sketch isn't leaving any unseen specks out of the drawing, turn on the border effect and zoom in to scan your canvas.

 

This is a way to make your sketch a bit cleaner before coloring!

Grey canvas, colored sketch + white border effect allows for visibility. For me personally this helps a lot with identifying small nearly invisible specks left by erasing during the sketch's build up.

This one has a lot of stray specks.

After a small clean up!

Turn border off if you want to check how the sketch looks. Adjust the sketch and repeat until satisfied. This also helps when linearting, if you're not sure about the smoothness.

 

Depending on the brush's smoothness, the white border may look messy because of texture.
