Screen outlines

I want to make a bunch of flowing screens for this guy, and I start off by simply drawing in the outlines, on a normal layer on top of everything else.

Glow

I then duplicate the layer, and use the Gaussian blur to fuzzy up the extra set of lines. Then I set the blending mode to add glow.

Scriblings

Now I add some (completely illegible and random) scribbles on the screen, to make it look like there are pictures and text on them. This is also done in pure white, on a separate layer set to normal.
