About the function of "Story Editor" installed in the EX version of CLIP STUDIO PAINT, if you remember, may the work efficiency of Crista increase? It is a small neta.

Version: CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX 1.6.9

Sort text

If you type a line with the text tool and then open it later in the story editor

There are times when the order of dialogue is broken and the flow becomes difficult to read.

In that case, you can shift the text order by clicking on the text you want to move while holding down "Shift" on the story editor and then dragging to the place you want to move.

Convenient functions

On the story editor, you can select multiple texts by entering them with a modifier key such as "Shift" and clicking.

Both PC version and iPad version should be usable ...

You can select more than one text you typed with Shift + click.

If it is an image, pressing "A" of the text and then pressing "C" will also select "B" between.

You can select only the text you clicked with Cmd + click.

It's "Cmd" for the iPad version, but it was the "Ctrl" key for Win machines. . .

Try changing the font

"Apply tool properties to text" allows you to change fonts only for specific characters or monologues at once.

After selecting the text you want to change, the menu will appear with the right click (iPad version long tap) on the Story Editor.

When "Apply tool property to text" is selected, it can be replaced with the text size and font currently set in the tool property.

  • You can also use "Page Management" menu> "Edit text"> "Apply tool properties to text".

Functions you might use if you remember

It is convenient when you need to remember "search and replace" such as when you mistook the first person of a character ... or such.

There is "Search and replace" under "Apply tool properties to text" so when you select it, you will see a popup that allows you to search and replace the text you entered.

· After entering a character in "search character string", you can search by that character by pressing "search".

It is convenient when you want to check that I was accidentally making the first person "I" instead of "I" ....

· After entering the character before modification in "search character string", enter the character you want to modify in "substitution character string" and "substitute" to replace the entire character.

It is convenient to use for correction etc. when I accidentally mistook the first person.

If "substitution character string" is blank and "substitution" "all replacement", it seems to delete the character of "search character string".

It may be useful to put a landmark on the monologue or the like and delete it at the end. There is a way to make work efficiency more efficient in this neighborhood, so I would like to investigate further ...!

I would be happy if you could help us a bit! Good luck for everyone ♪
